Direct English training center re-opens in Vietnam

After a lengthy time closed due to the coronavirus pandemic, Linguaphone Group is delighted to confirm that Direct English Vietnam have today re-opened their doors in Saigon.

To ensure the health and safety of the students and staff, a deep clean of the whole center took place over the weekend before they re-opened.

Direct English Vietnam is part of a growing network of partners across South East Asia, including within Thailand, Malaysia and Myanmar. As part of their expansion plans, Direct English Vietnam plans to open a second training center later this year.

While the global network of Direct English training centers have been unable to open, partners have been running virtual classes using the brand new Direct English Live online learning platform. This enables Direct English students to continue their learning through online group and private classes delivered by qualified tutors – delivered on a mixture of smartphone, tablet and laptop devices.

As well as Direct English, the Linguaphone Group delivers their Pingu’s English enrichment and kindergarten programS for children  under license worldwide. During the pandemic,  our young Pingu’s English learners worldwide have been able to continue their learning too through group class online tuition run by partners. Daily Pingu’s English at Home activities have also been prepared by academic experts at Linguaphone Group’s headquarters. Pingu’s English Vietnam also plans to reopen their doors next week, in line with government guidelines.
